Services

Sunday mornings we gather for worship and fellowship, with two services in the sanctuary and a time of food and fellowship in the parish hall after each service. (About four times a year, we have one combined service.)

Our services are from the Book of Common Prayer, but the full text of the service is found in the bulletins.

At the 9:00 am service, the language and music are more traditional, with hymns led by a cantor accompanied by a harpist and prayers that include “thy, thee and thou.” At the 10:30 am service, the language and music are more contemporary, with praise songs led by our music team, including our music director Shelly Franklin. Both services include Holy Communion each week.

Holy Communion

Anyone who has been baptized in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit is welcome to receive Holy Communion. If you are not baptized, you are welcome to come forward for a blessing; just cross your arms as you step forward to let the priest know. If you are interested in being baptized, please contact Rev. Cindy Stansbury here. Since the pandemic, we have been using individual jars of consecrated wine instead of a common cup. We will revisit that decision after this flu and winter virus season.

Children

Children are welcome at both services and can either stay with their parents during the service or enjoy our nursery or Sunday School. In the Narthex near the front door, we have books and fidget toys available to help children be comfortable during the service. Nursery care is available for children five and under at both services. Sunday School is offered the first and third Sundays of the month during the first part of the 10:30 service. The children return from Sunday School in time for Communion.

You can view a livestream of all our services here, and an archive of our previous recordings is here.
