The Diocese of Churches for the Sake of Others
Our diocese is the Diocese of Churches for the Sake of Others (C4SO) under the leadership of our Bishop, the Right Reverend Dr. Todd Hunter. C4S0 is a non-geographic diocese centered on being mission minded and engaged in church planting. It is one of the dioceses in the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA) which is supportive of the ordination of women in holy orders (deacon and priest). Currently our diocese has about 50 churches and more than a hundred clergy spread out across 15 states. St. James and NorCal Deanery were part of the founding of C4SO.
NorCal/Pacific Northwest Deanery
Since C4SO is large and non-geographic, then we have regional deaneries within our diocese. Our deanery, which was originally named NorCal Deanery, includes churches in Northern California, Oregon, and Washington. Rev. Cindy Stansbury is currently the dean of this deanery.
Anglican Church in North America
St. James and C4SO are part of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA), which is deeply involved in the life of the Anglican Communion throughout the world.
