Outreach

Outreach is an important way we live out our mission in the world. We believe we are called to reach out with loving arms in order to bring comfort to the afflicted and hope to the hopeless. St. James' Outreach Ministry Team is committed to the transformation of lives through the tangible expression of our faith. Each month we focus on a different need. We focus on local and international needs.

Our Outreach schedule is flexible, the team decides every year where to concentrate our efforts. Some of our projects are:

Donating warm socks, warm coats and blankets for the homeless in our area through LifeMoves.

Funds for the Anglican Relief and Development Fund.

Mac 'n Cheese for San Jose Family Shelter.

Canned foods for Home First.

Children's books for Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence.

Baby items and funds for the local Real Options Pregnancy centers.

School supplies for the Santa Maria Urban Ministry.

Funds for the Twinomujuni Children's Home in Kabale, Uganda, run by Shepherd's Love.

Salvation Army Toy Drive.

Since 2017 we have also been supporting Medair through cash donations (any money given to the collection plate with no known contributor) on Sunday mornings.

You are welcome to send suggestions of new projects for us to support or join us for our outreach team meeting on the last Wednesday of every month at 11:30 a.m. in Mana House -
