Our 10:30 a.m. Sunday service is contemporary, joyful, and reverent. It is a celebration of Holy Communion following the ancient pattern of worship that would be recognizable by the the early church. Our music is more contemporary. We include songs that are very new, songs that are a few years old, and occasional traditional hymns with contemporary settings. There are actually two times of the year when we sing traditional music: Christmas and Easter. Somehow a remix of "Silent Night " or "Jesus Christ is Risen Today" just wouldn't seem right.
We love kids, and our 10:30 service is especially kid friendly. Children are welcome to attend Sunday School or remain with their parents for the whole service. Our desire is that children have positive early memories of church and we encourage parents to do what they think is best for their children. We are not bothered by children in church. It is common to see toddlers exploring the church. We encourage parents to allow this. We also have a staffed nursery with toys for young children, and a wonderful playground. Both of our services are family friendly.
