This week The Vicar of Bagdad, Canon Andrew White, wrote this "Today’s Pictures are too awful to show. You know I love to show photos but the photo I was sent today was the most awful I have ever seen. A family of 8 all shot through the face laying in a pool of blood with their Bible open on the couch. They would not convert it cost them there life." (http://frrme.org/move-forward/) This is a costly faith or is it? Was it a hard choice or even a choice at all? Through the eyes of faith we begin to see the world as it really is. Faith changes our worldview. Terrorists need not terrify us for death has lost its sting. This Sunday Fr. Ed will discuss five things that Faith includes. Belief is one aspect of faith but only one aspect. When faith is reduced to belief, it is not faith and it will not sustain us in time of great challenge. Faith is also not binary. We can have a little faith or a lot of faith. Our faith increases as we live more spiritual lives. So does our joy.
