Our Senior Pastor is Ed McNeill.   You can call him Ed, or Fr. Ed, or anything else you are comfortable with. Ed was ordained in 1986 and has served as a Senior Pastor in Alberta, Canada and here in California. He is a graduate of Nashotah House in Wisconsin.  In the Anglican Church a Sr. Pastor is usually called a Rector.  Ed is our principle vision caster, leader, and preacher.  He works with our Vestry (our governing board) to discern God's will for St. James.  Ed is a good preacher.  He is occasionally funny.  He is faithful.  If he says he is going to pray for you he will. You can follow Ed on Twitter and "friend" him on Facebook if you would like to learn more about him.  Ed also blogs a few times a month.

The Rev. Cindy Stansbury is our Assistant Pastor. Cindy was ordained a priest in 2011.  Cindy earned a Master of Arts in Ministry from Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Wisconsin. Cindy also holds a BS in Math & Computer Science from San Jose State.  Cindy was the founding Headmaster of Live Oak Academy.  Cindy is married and lives in Saratoga with her husband and three of her four children. Her eldest child is now in University.  Cindy is kind and pastoral.  Cindy's ministry is focused on pastoral care and small group ministry.

The Rev. Ken Dean joined the staff in 2013. Ken was Executive Pastor of Venture Church in Los Gatos and has a background in church planting & growth, he is seeking ordination in the ACNA and will be ordained to the transitional diaconate on March 16th.

Paul Robertson joined the staff as the Chief Financial Administrator in January of 2013 after 25 years at Winchester Mystery House.

Shelly Franklin joined St. James Staff in February, 2013 as the Worship Music Leader.  Shelly has been singing and teaching singing for many years in the San Francisco Bay area. Shelly has also released her second album The First time in a Long Time (on iTunes).

The Rev. Deacon Carole Anderson joined St. James in June of 2012.  Carole was ordained a Deacon in November of 1999 at Good Shepherd Fellowship, an Anglican Church plant in Santa Cruz. She served there until 2003, when she moved to Christ the King Anglican Church in Campbell.  Carole served at Christ the King until coming to St. James.  Carole is also a member of Little Brothers and Sisters of Sacrifice, an Anglican Religious Order focused on Intercessory Prayer.  Carole has a pastor's heart and especially enjoys serving women and the elderly in the church.  Carole is widowed with two grown children and three beautiful grandchildren.

The work of Ministry is undertaken by our Ministry Teams. If St. James  has an effective Outreach Ministry it is because our Outreach Team has led us effectively.  If our Sunday School is fantastic it is because our Children's Ministry Team is excellent.  Our Ministry Teams rely on the leadership of our Team Leaders. Some of our Ministry Teams have a staff member in addition to a Ministry Team Leader.

Pat Morse is our Parish Administrator.  Pat has worked in high tech for plus 30 years, has been very active in Cursillo, and is loving being part of one of God's Start ups. She won't let us put her picture on our website.  When asked she smiled and said "not a chance".

We enjoy having a good staff.  But our ministry is not organized around our staff.  Our Ministry Team Leaders, with their teams, make most of the decisions that impact our daily life together.  Small groups are the heartbeat of St. James, and their leaders are vital to our life together. Increasingly we understand ourselves to be an "Ephesians 4:11-13" congregation. The role of our staff is to equip our laity for the work of Ministry.
