Outreach is an important way we live out our mission in the world. We believe we are called to reach out with loving arms in order to bring comfort to the afflicted and hope to the hopeless. St. James' Outreach Ministry Team is committed to the transformation of lives through the tangible expression of our faith. Each month we focus on a different need. We focus on local and international needs.

The Outreach ministry is very excited to announce a new opportunity to involve the members of Saint James in a direct hands-on program of service to the community.  Starting on the first Friday in March the members of St. James will be preparing dinner for the residents of the San Jose Family Shelter once a month. Team leader, Roy Morse, will be organizing the teams and gathering the necessary supplies. Donations of food and cash will be needed but, more importantly, your time and willing hands are required to make this, our first real hands-on project, a success.  Click here to sign up!

In January, the Outreach team collects warm socks for the homeless in our area.

In February, the Outreach team collects funds for the Anglican Relief and Development Fund.

In March, the Outreach team collects Mac 'n Cheese for the San Jose Family Shelter.

In April, the Outreach team collects canned foods for the Emergency Housing Consortium.

In May, the Outreach team collects children's books for Tri-City Women’s Shelter

In June, the Outreach team supports local Real Options Pregnancy centers.

In July/August, the Outreach team partners with Santa Maria Urban Ministry to provide much needed school supplies.

In September, the Outreach team collects Warm Coats and blankets for InnVision.

In October, the Outreach team collects funds for Fr. Joseph of Kenya and the Aid2Kenya fund.

In Nov/Dec, the Outreach team partners with the Salvation Army Giving Tree Toy Drive.
