St. James Prayer Chain has many members committed to praying for all who request prayer. Our members consider it a privilege to pray for others.
We are not separate individuals but one family in Jesus name. God didn't mean for us to go it alone.
On any given day, there will be persons lifted up who are ill, who must face the death of a loved one, or who are dealing with depression. No request is unimportant. All requests for prayers are lifted up as our prayer chain prays.
We really like prayers of thanksgiving also…as they lighten our hearts.
We are bonded by the belief that God hears our prayers and responds.. Even when the outcome is not what we want, we trust in God.
Are any among you suffering? They should pray. Are any cheerful? They should sing songs of praise. Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up; and anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective. (James 5:13-16)
Let us pray for you, send your prayer request to our Prayer Chain or join us in praying for churches in our diocese & region in our Weekly Cycle of Prayer.
