Welcome to St. James

Parking is very Close to St. James

Thank you for visiting our website.  We hope you will visit us on a Sunday, and look forward to meeting you.  We understand that visiting a church for the first time can be anxious moment. We promise that we will not make a fuss over you and will try to make your visit an enjoyable and memorable occasion.

We have two Sunday morning worship services at 9:00 & 10:30. Our 9 am service is a traditional Anglican Service of Holy Communion with Organ music and traditional hymns. Coffee Hour follows in Duncan Hall (located next door to the Church). Our 10:30 am service has contemporary music and feels like an updated version of our 9am service. A second Coffee Hour follows the 10:30 am service.

We encourage people to park at Willow Glen Elementary School which is a half block north of St. James on the same side of the street. (we have permission to park there). There is also street parking near the church and about 5 spaces immediately behind the church for people with new babies or physical disabilities. Bottom line: there is lots of parking close to St. James.

We love kids, and children are always welcome to stay with their parents throughout the service.  We do have a staffed nursery at all services.  The Nursery is located right next to our worship space.  We also have Sunday School during the first half of both services.  It is located next door in the building behind the Parish Hall.  Your children are never far away.  We strive to be child friendly.  More information about our Children and Youth Ministry can be found under the "Ministry Team" menu item.

When you come in person the first time you will be greeted near the front door of the church, welcomed, and be offered a service bulletin.  Its got everything in it you need to follow along easily. If you attend the 9 am service you will also need to use the Hymnal found in the pew back in front of your seat. If you attend the 10:30 service the bulletin is all you need.

When we launched St James in 2009 it was with the hope of providing a spiritual home for many people.  If you are looking for a spiritual home we hope you will come visit us.
